"Signs in the city" is a project to promote foreign languages through city signs - signs in the streets of the city, historical heritage, architecture, artistic features, graffiti, sports, leisure, traffic, transport, maps, events, shops and restaurants etc.
"Signs in the city" introduces you to five languages:
- Bulgarian, Greek, Polish, Spanish and Maltese visually represented in five cities:
- Dobrich (Bulgaria), Nafplio (Greece), Gdansk (Poland), Alcalá de Henares (Spain) and Birgu (Malta) using the contemporary art - photography.
You can try to understand and read the language as well as words and phrases through the city signs.
You can enjoy an easy access to the city, its culture and its language.
